Bristow's on the mend

Daddy vowed to take care of our little Jubilee this weekend so that I could nurse Bristow back to life. And that I did! So while daddy and Julian were playing about on the floor and eating yummy beans (look at that face!), I ripped both fronts of Bristow back about 10 inches total and started fresh.

This time I did not miss any yarnovers and finished both fronts. Again! But this time, I won't be doing any more frogging.

I immediately cast on for the first sleeve in fear that if I didn't start it right away, then poor Bristow would go hiding under the bed. Again! Poor thing. Such neglect is not right ;0)

To my surprise, the first sleeve is flying and am dreaming of a finished Bristow by the end of the week. What? It could happen! Afterall, I've got to finish it before Project Spectrum leaves the red and pink behind in just over a week. Plus, my sister's birthday is coming up on March 31st and I have to finish her 'Christmas' socks by then...

Knit, knit, knit!

  1. What a precious little Tootsie Pop! I was just wondering today what you did about the Bristow. It looks good! You know, I've never made something for myself other than my first pair of socks over a year ago. I'm waiting for the perfect pattern to present itself! Suggestions? I'm off to the library to request some of the books your reviewed from the Interlibrary Loan.

  2. Bristow is going to ROCK once it's done. Good job getting all your yarnovers fixed and everything knit back up. A finished Bristow by the end of the week? YEP! You can do it! :)

  4. Oh that face is so precious! And it was so good of Daddy to occupy Julian while you saved Bristow. They deserve a reward!
