Well this is it! My family is about to change. Today was a weird day of emotions where we were really excited about welcoming our second child into the world tomorrow and at the same time a little sad that our little family as we have known it in the past 21 months is about to change forever. Needless to say we spent a lot of time gazing lovingly at our little Jujube today thinking about how it was his last day as an only child. And how wonderful he is. And how blessed we have been. How lucky our little lemon will be to have such an honourable big brother to teach him things and to be by his side as he makes his own way.
We sure did take it all in though...
((((hugs))))

ReplyDeleteAnny, you are going to LOVE having two boys( I had three) and close in age, too. You will not remember your life without Lemon in it. It will feel perfect. I bet Julian will adore his brother. He will be a great big brother as you and his daddy taught him to be loving by your own loving example.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on bringing the Lemon into your family. By the time you read this you will most likely have him in your arms!
i hope everythign goes smoothly for you today. i'll be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best today-sending all kinds of good thoughts out to you and your enlarging family!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteTwo boys are so much fun! Not to mention all the money you'll save in sharing clothes. Lol
ReplyDeleteI remember how huge my then 30 month old son looked when he walked into the room the day after Tater was born. He seemed 10 feet tall and about 10 years older.
I will be keeping the 3 of you in my thoughts today for a safe and swift delivery of little Lemon.
Love the pictures. Especially the ones of Daddy and the little guy. Julian looks so cute peeking at the camera and then leaning back to look at Stephen.
ReplyDeleteIt's Tuesday morning now, so you're in my prayers.

It's only the beginning of the next step to being a family. Best wishes & hugs.

ReplyDeleteGreat photos... gotta love the Backyardigans! Good luck tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat next to the last photo is so priceless! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a big change to go from having an 'only' to two children. Having 7 years with Ben and then having a baby now too has been something to behold. It's wonderful and you'll find there's plenty of love to go around. I'll be eager to see your wee one's picture :) Mine is 6 weeks on the day yours will be born - time flies!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteJulian is so cute, and looks so happy too, so I am sure soon enough you will have two gorgeous boys to gaze lovingly at. Cant wait to see the new arrival.
ReplyDeleteJulian is so adorable - my how he's grown! Congrats for your new addition - can't wait to see the pics!
ReplyDeletePraying everything went well!!!
ReplyDeleteAs a woman who had a pregnancy that wouldn't end, I well remember the peace of the "induce by" date (though I went the day before mine). Julian looking up at daddy was so sweet that I got choked up. I love it when my little boy does that with me and every time i kiss him on the forehead. Lots of love to you and your newly larger family!
ReplyDeleteLove and best wishes to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteAnny & family,
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best. I love the pics . . . especially the "boys" looking at each other. Man, I would blow that baby up and make a poster out of it! Very cool!
