Olympic countdown timer...

My husband is pleased as punch with the response from his little weekend project: the official knitting olympics countdown timer. An endorsement from her highness Yarn Harlot is a very special honour indeed. We love her. Yeah, that's right, I said we. She makes me laugh so hard at times I can't help myself from reading her aloud to him (which I know he secretly enjoys, a wife knows these things ;0)

Click here to get the script/code for your blog.

Knit on (and don't panic, there's still plenty of time left)!

  1. I would *love* a copy of the script. Because you know, I'm not under enough pressure. ;)

Great idea, really, that's just Evil Julie who is in the middle of her first lace shawl talking...

  4. I love your sweater. Very nice. And I'm impressed with your progress!

I had to tink back 10 or so rows on my socks last Friday. Never try and knit a challenging-to-you pattern during a Yarn Harlot talk! She was very funny. And distracting. I got to keep the ribbing, though, so at least some of my sock was knitted with a big bunch of fellow olympic knitters.

I would really like a copy of the countdown timer code. Then I just have to figure out how to post it on my blog ;-)

Thanks! And thanks for creating it!

  7. Your baby things are so cute! I am a Catholic mom of 6 finding nearly no time to knit. My challenge is to finish a pair of some kind of bootee's from Zoe's book before the olympics are over. I am sooo jealous of you all who have these cool yarn shops in your city! I can't even get the yarn. I want to knit some of these cool little things for my 10 week old. I am tired!!!
    Nice to meet you!

  37. Anny, I was thinking, rather than emailg more than 30 people with the script, you could put the script and instructions for use into a text file, put that file on the web and just include a link in your blog to that file? Might save you from spending the rest of the olympics emailing people :)
